Use AI responsibly

Goal:Know the four rules that keep your work, and the people in it, safe.

  1. Privacy: remove personal details before you paste.
  2. Disclosure: say when AI helped, and what you changed.
  3. Ownership: check each tool's terms before client work.
  4. Bias: look at who appears in AI output, and who's missing.

Practice the first rule: black out everything personal in this interview note.

Play

Click every word that identifies someone. Then check.

Real situations are rarely labeled. Pick what you'd do in each one.

Play
  1. You recorded five user interviews and want AI to find themes quickly.

  2. A client loves a logo direction that started as an AI image.

  3. AI generated six personas for a banking app. All six are men in their thirties.

Disclosure is easier when you have the words ready. Build a one-line note you can put under any project in your portfolio: which tools helped, what they did, and what you did.

Play

Pick what's true for a project, and copy the line.
